Common Conditions

Urinary / Kidney

  • Bedwetting (Nocturnal Enuresis)
  • Hydronephrosis — swelling of one or both kidneys due to a blockage or obstruction in the urinary tract.
  • Kidney/Bladder Stones
  • Posterior Urethral Valves (PUV) — obstructive membranes that block the outflow of urine through the urethra
  • Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
  • Urinary Incontinence — loss of bladder control
  • Vesicoureteral Reflux (VUR) — urine flows in the wrong direction from the bladder to the kidneys

Genital

  • Hydrocele — abdominal fluid fills a sac in your scrotum, causing it to swell
  • Hypospadias — the opening of the urethra is on the underside of the penis
  • Inguinal Hernia — part of the membrane lining the abdominal cavity or intestine sticks out through a weak spot in the abdomen
  • Undescended Testicles (cryptorchidism) — one or both testicles do not descend into the scrotum.
  • Varicocele — enlargement of the veins within the loose bag of skin holding the testicles
