Christopher Tam, MD

Dr. Tam’s practice spans the full scope of urologic conditions, with special interest in kidney stone disease and enlarged prostate. Committed to optimizing patient outcomes, he leverages extensive training in minimally invasive surgery and robotic-assisted surgery techniques to treat both cancerous and benign conditions.

A scientist at heart, medicine was a natural calling for Dr. Tam. He provides comprehensive care by considering each patient’s overall health and how urology fits into their broader well-being. Driven by his ability to make a profound impact on his patient’s lives, Dr. Tam emphasizes not just treating the disease, but understanding how each patient’s overall health.

Originally from California, Dr. Tam moved to Reno in 2022 and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to his community. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys cross-country running, playing ultimate frisbee and pickleball, dancing, studying chess and spending time with family and friends.
