Jerald B. Gilbert, MD
From the time he was a child, Jerald B. Gilbert has loved solving puzzles. His career as a urologist has been built on figuring out the why of his patients’ problems and then providing the best solution. He brings more than 30 years of urologic expertise, from general care to complex surgeries.
At Urology Nevada, Dr. Gilbert sees a wide range of patients and addresses the full scope of urologic conditions, with special interest in cancer treatment, stone disease and benign prostatic hyperplasia. He believes in a candid, compassionate approach to patient communication, working closely with each patient to address their unique health concerns.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Gilbert fell in love with the West during medical training at UCLA and always knew he would return. After building a highly successful urology practice in Pennsylvania, Dr. Gilbert decided the pull of the West (and his sons in the Bay Area) was too strong to resist any longer. He and his wife moved to Reno in 2026, where he can happily indulge his passions for mountain sports (including mountain biking, hiking, skiing and fly fishing) and more easily visit his sons.
