Remy W. Lamberts, MD

Dr. Lamberts was raised in Northern Nevada, where he attended Reno High School and enjoyed playing varsity soccer, mountain biking, skiing and windsurfing. His parents, Dr. Eric Lamberts and Dr. Karen McDermott, are both primary care physicians in the area and instilled the importance of kindness, compassion and integrity in medicine.

After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Lamberts spent a year and a half in France in one of the premier diabetes labs performing research on islet cell transplantation. Upon his return to the States, he completed a six-year residency at Stanford Hospitals and Clinics, where he published six peer reviewed journal articles and participated in research on health policy, MRI fusion biopsy and kidney stone disease. He has extensive training covering the breadth of general urology, with an emphasis on cutting-edge ureteroscopic technology, minimally-invasive therapies for enlarged prostates and da Vinci Robotic procedures for kidney, bladder and prostate cancer.

Dr. Lamberts is excited to practice in Reno, serving his community and enjoying the recreational and outdoor opportunities the area has to offer. He is recently engaged and looks forward to raising a family in his hometown.
